Was having hotpot, just picked some cheap bottles to extinguish my fiery chilli zest. This Bordeaux was not bad, I picked it as 2014 was a higher acidity vintage, and I couldn’t agree less. It didn’t taste like a typical Bordeaux Blanc. In fact, it was almost like a rugged white burgundy. Great acidity with a bit of a rough fruits, which was perfectly fine with my spicy Chongqing hotpot!
