TOP WHITE FROM TOP VINTAGE 2
Leflaive needed no introduction, particularly on her Chevalier Montrachet that can put 99% of the white burgundies to shame!
Quite an atypical Chevalier, as it was made in a very powerful style. Slight orange, followed by ripe orange, very advanced, sugarcane on the nose. Palate was extremely intense, oily, very forward, ripe and ready. Over the span of 3 hours, it keeps improving in the glass till the glass probably exploded! It challenged the #1 really tight but still #2.
