Louis Roederer produced a range of champagnes, from entry level to connoisseur level. This was obviously an entry level, although it’s quite well made for the price.
Very mushy, loads of foams and bubbles to mask the flavor. When warmed up slightly, the strong lemony character showed up. However it was still a pleasant drink to go with a variety of food. I had turkey and cranberry sauce, and this champagne still went well with the turkey!
