Ballot Millot Les Narvaux Meursault 2018

I bought this label based upon my supplier’s recommendation, she thought highly of it. I always liked this Meursault ‘Les Narvaux’ plot, it’s one of the best Merusault village plot, very small of 0.6ha, with pretty good aged vines between 35 and 60 years old. I can co-relate to all these statistics, the content was stunning; mineral and intense. It has this stout and tight body that flexes like a great yoga practitioner. I believe in a blind tasting, I would have rated this as a premier cru rather than village level, it wasn’t inferior at all. Definitely a worthy buy and a great bottle to be represented in a blind tasting of Meursault.
