“STRANGE CHAVE

Was having great expectations on this Chave 83 after tasting the killer 78 shared by Christian a few months ago. Unfortunately the legend didn’t continue with the 83. Turned out this is more burgundy than Rhone style, both on the nose (Pinot Noir plus some gunpowder) and body. Extremely acidic, thin body, sharp, although it did improve over time. Extremely burgundy like, with a dash of unique strawberry taste. I was mildly disappointed.”
