EXTREME WHITE BURGUNDY

In a recent tasting of 2002 white burgundies, four bottles of Chevalier Montrachet was put into the same flight. This relatively unknown maker blew everything off the table including Leflaive Chevalier. Fun huh?

Nose was submerged with really fine oaks and pristine minerality. The content was nothing but shockingly great, palate was not just broad, but also deep, covered all angles, very youthful wine with great minerality. Superb hidden gems!
