LAST BEST VINTAGE
Lynch Bages, a 5th growth property, should rightfully be a second growth, in the 50s to 90s, it has produced stunning wines that even first growth was put to shame.
1996 was probably the last best vintage for Lynch Bages, as I have not tasted anything great after 96. Decanted for 1.5 hrs, Awesome bouquet similar to Lafite. Awesome palate, dark chocolate, black currants, creamy latte, ripe, rich and multiple layers. I would rank this as one of the best 96 Pauillac along with Lafite.
