Trotanoy 1986
4.5/5!
Cult Wine

“Trotanoy, a Pomerol appellation, I’d consider it as a cult wine status. Under the care of JP Moueix, every vintage keeps improving. I once asked the son Eduardo Moueix whether he preferred Petrus or Trotanoy, his answer was indirect: I cannot differentiate between certain vintages of Petrus or Trotanoy in a blind tasting! This 86 was certainly too young: nose of extreme smokiness, later intense blueberry. Palette was light and impeccably soft, very contrasting to the nose character. Very lovely.”

A Real Conversation Starter!

PAIR THIS WITH A SUCCULENT LAMB CHOP:
This rich, fruity and structured Bordeaux will pair extremely well with a simple Lamb Chop dressed in herbs.
A classic pairing that will never go out of style.

Chateau Coutet 2010
4.5/5!
Sweet Ending

“Coutet is derived frim the Gascon’s word for knife. This is with relation to the wine’s fresh and crisp palate, which is their signature style. Also I learned that the climatic profile of 2010 vintage is similar to 1962, which was an outstanding vintage in Sauternes.

The nose was lively with citrus fruits, apricot, vanilla, and a tinge of honey. The palate was zesty, rich and creamy, but still had a sharp freshness to it that doesn’t make the wine too cloying. Perfect way to end a meal with!

PERFECT ENDING AT ONLY $95!

Satisfy that sweet tooth with this Creme Brulee:
Rule of thumb, your dessert must be sweeter or at least the same sweetness level as your dessert wine. The creaminess and burnt caramelized sugar of the creme brulee will be the perfect match!
