Pichon Lalande 1983

Reporting on a recent vertical tasting of 7 vintages from Pichon Lalande. Following the legendary vintage that is 1982, not a lot of people realize that 1983 was also a superb vintage for the chateau. Greatly shows the feminine characteristics they are well known for.

Nose was showing a lot of secondary/tertiary notes such as tobacco and earth. The palate had light red fruits and was extremely silky and balanced! With tannins still around, this can still age more but drinking superbly well now!
