I don’t know what to expect on this Cotes de Beaune Grand Cru, as my experience with other labels were glaciers, i.e. It aged very slowly, mostly required 2 decades to reach drinking window.
This one didn’t have to wait 20 years, only an hour. Nose of very mild but addictive summer flower odor. Palate was very soft, very expansive, covered my mouth from left to right without gap, although a bit short on finishing. I observed after an hour the soft character morphed into rich butter.
